Paradise! Your own private, self contained holiday house that is a secluded retreat on over 2 1/2 acres on the little island of Aore in Vanuatu.
​But, don't just sit there (unless you want to)!! Our Caretaker, Sandy, will grab you a fresh coconut from the tree and you can start to plan your adventure!
Aore Point Private Retreat is private, yet close to Luganville town (by water taxi), snorkelling out the front, room to kick around a football and less than 10 minutes from world class dive sites (Million Dollar Point, SS President Coolidge, and Tutuba reef within 5 minutes boat ride).

There are caretakers on site to help with any questions, and additional services are available including laundry, transfers to the local resort for dinner/lunch or drinks, local diving instructors and tours, guided tours with local company and water taxi.
The Planning:
It is necessary to do a little bit of planning but food options are increasing at the local Luganville market and grocery stores.
Basic staples are available at the local fresh fruit and vegetable market and are, of course, seasonal to the area.
The local butcher has very good quality beef, chicken and pork at great prices.
There is also a more traditional supermarket LCM which stocks more "western" food including tinned food, pantry staples, toiletries, chips, biscuits and fridge items like butter and cheese. Smaller, local supermarkets also stock a range of grocery items and souvenirs.
The Property is Direct Oceanfront:
5 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms with shower, toilet and vanity to each (Max 8 adults (additional strictly by approval only))
Self-catered living with fully functional and equipped kitchen.
Private beach always accessible 20 metres from house. Plenty of room to explore the coral during low tide and spend hours splashing around in the water.

Children are welcome, however, please note that the property is waterfront and tidal and the water is not fenced off.
​The House:
There are numerous facilities provided to make your stay relaxing (and a few mod cons that aren't.....like no tv).
On the deck: 4 outdoor sun lounges, 2 large cushioned day beds, 8 seater timber outdoor dining setting, barbecue with a hood.
Inside: 6 seater dining setting, fully equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer, gas cooking, electric oven, pots and pans, cutlery and dishes, ipod/MP3 docking station with radio, 2 lounges, a couple of comfy chaises in the bedrooms to relax on and read a book (or take a nap).
Bedroom layout is 3 bedrooms with Queen beds, 1 bedroom with 1 x Queen Bed and 1 x Single bed and the last bedroom with a bunk bed having double bed to the bottom and a single top bunk.
Linen included: bed sheets, doonas and blankets, bath towels, beach towels and tea towels are provided. These are laundered once a week (any extra is optional).
Sporting equipment included: soccer ball, tennis rackets, 2 x double kayaks, 2 x single kayaks, and 3 x mens and 2 x womens bicycles are available (with exception - some may be out due to maintenance. If so, our apologies for the inconvenience.)
You will need to bring all your personal items with you including: toiletries, sunscreen, insect repellent, hair dryer, hats, snorkelling gear, diving equipment, fishing rods, folding cot.
