Welcome to Kitty's Place! This is a brand new construction 2 bedroom basement apartment that does not feel like it's in the basement with plenty of natural light in the kitchen. There is a private entrance with smart lock entry. Very open space with huge modern kitchen with gas stove, 3 seat breakfast bar, built in microwave, dishwasher, private laundry and gorgeous bathroom with large glass shower.
The Space:
There are two exits from the apartment. Main entrance is from the driveway and there is an emergency exit into the backyard from the laundry room. Gas stove! Dishwasher. Cooking utensils and essentials, coffee maker.

The Neighborhood:
Quiet suburban neighborhood with wide streets. We are also close to Christiana Hospital (1.5mi), University of DE (4.5mi), Christiana Mall (Best tax free shopping on the east coast!) and Delaware Park Casino. We are very close to 95, a short commute to Philadelphia and 1.5hr to DE beaches.
Getting Around:
Very close to 95. Churchman's Crossing train station which goes to Philadelphia is within Uber/walking distance. Having a car or using Uber/Lyft is recommended to get around.
Other Things to Note:
**This apartment would not be a great fit for very tall guests (6'2"+) as the ceiling height is only 7' **
This apartment is a little over 1 mile away from Christiana hospital and is perfect for medical students, residents and other healthcare professionals that need to be close by.
Our usual availability settings are set to 2 night minimum on weekends and 5 day min during the weekdays. We will consider shorter stays on a case by case basis, just send us a message. We want to make sure we have time to have the apartment spotless for the next guest coming in. We welcome long term stays (a month or greater)! Just message us with any questions.
