This spacious 6,700 square foot log cabin, sleeps and provides dining for 22 with additional sleeping available in a separate living space with two futons. The main kitchen is a cook’s paradise equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample granite counter tops, and a six burner stove. Off the eat in kitchen with enough space for everyone to gather for meals and game playing is a large living room decorated with a welcoming log home feel and 16 foot tall ceilings and fireplace that opens up to a large back deck complete with a gas grill (available seasonally) and spectacular views of the water. You will find plenty of options to keep the family and especially the kids entertained during those down times, thanks to two additional living areas for your group to spread out and unwind. The master bedroom on the main level boosts a walk-in shower with jets of water coming from every direction except from below, jetted bathtub, and sauna. On the second floor, you will find three additional bedrooms, one with a private bathroom, and the other two bedrooms sharing a jack-and-jill bathroom.
Additionally above the garage you will find a mother in laws suite equipped with a second kitchen including an additional stove/oven, a second fridge, second dishwasher, and additional counter space as well as a second dining room, living space, two additional bedrooms, and a bathroom.
This home provides the perfect place to relax in a log cabin in the middle of the woods and delight in the sights, sounds and activities of nature. All this is located on the peninsula between Lake Three and Lake Four within what is known as Five Lakes. This gorgeous, quiet, and private setting boosts a tranquil lake with crystal clear water. A good portion of the south east end is undeveloped and excellent for wildlife viewing, fishing, and exploring via the onsite kayaks. The quaint lake provides the perfect back drop for a quite campfire to roast marshmallows; enjoy a few yard games and back yard barbecue with provided grill and games; or kick back, relax, and enjoy the view from the expansive back porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine together with friends and family.
Although the five lakes log home does not have central air conditioning for the entire house, all the bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and window air conditioning units plus the main house is equipped with a full house fan.
