Our newest cabin has 1 queen, 1 twin Murphy bed and 1 bathroom. A thoughtful and well-designed 600 square feet of living space makes it an ideal accommodation choice for a couple looking for the ultimate southern Illinois experience.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a micro cabin or tiny house? Our cabins are considered "large" tiny homes at 600 square feet- making them fun, but very roomy and comfortable. We love the modern appeal and designed them with our young- and young at heart- travelers in mind. They feature warm wood elements with soft white shiplap and plenty of natural light.
We purchased this property after 9 years of lake living on Lake of Egypt. As much as we enjoyed our lakefront home, we were ready to trade in our waterfront for acreage to raise our growing family.
Location, Location, Location! Our cabin is not just centrally located in the heart of all things "southern Illinois" but more importantly to you, as the traveler, we are only 4 miles from I-57 and I-24- making our destination assessable and stress-free!
The cabin is located on our homestead property- on what we consider "the back 5" acres.
We are very excited to now have a "natural swimming pool" aka a swimming pond with a beach on location! We will be offering paddleboards this year at no additional cost to our guests.
