As soon as you arrive and walk into Casa Tropico you will know you have made a wise choice.
The list of amenities offers so much to every member of your group that you will not want to leave. We are just minutes to bustling Atlantic Avenue, Delray's famed beaches, and too many shops and stores to mention, all while nestled in this quiet waterfront community away from the hustle and bustle.
The heated saltwater pool is surrounded by gorgeous tropical palm trees and foliage, and many chaise lounges and chairs where you can soak up the Florida sun. The pool has a multi-color LED lighting and water jets providing a light show alongside the soothing sound of falling water.
The patio next to the heated salt water pool offers a great custom outdoor bar with a sink, wine and beer refrigerator, and a luxury gas BBQ. There are two tables with combined seating for 18, with a 65 inch smart TV, outstanding sound system, tiki torches, and chairs around a fire pit.
You will look out upon the waterway leading you to its gorgeous homes, as well as numerous great restaurants where you can dock and enjoy a leisurely meal and drinks. Or you can venture out into the Atlantic Ocean and simply cruise along, racing the dolphins and flying fish, or enjoy great deep sea fishing.
You can bring your own boat, launch it from a nearby boat launch, and utilize the home's boatlift, or rent a boat from several nearby boat rental locations. There are also numerous charter fishing boats in the area with experienced captains and crews, who know exactly where to go on a daily basis to catch Sailfish, Marlin, sharks, Mahi-Mahi, Snapper, etc. We have two ocean kayaks that can be lowered into the water from our dock, or you could drive a short distance to Delray's beloved public beach where you can rent jet skis, sailboats, surf boards, paddleboards, windsurfing boards, etc and receive lessons from experienced staff if you wish.
We have 4 bikes for your use, and you can ride along on the Tropic Isle streets lined with beautiful homes. Our lightly traveled streets are relatively safe, since most streets end in cul-de-sacs. Or, if you are more adventuresome, you could ride along the bike path on AlA, the highway which runs along the Atlantic Ocean and its numerous public beaches.
Casa Tropico's large circular brick paver driveway offers parking for at least 8 cars. The brick paver front walkway is lined with large stately palm trees, and has extensive landscape lighting. The wonderful fragrance of the flowers of honeysuckle bushes, gardenia bushes, and Jasmine Star vines abounds throughout the landscaping of Casa Tropico - you will love it.
The main living area of the home is quite large and is an ideal setting for entertaining family and guests. It offers spectacular views of the pool, with its LED light show in the evenings, and the waterfront and its boats. The main living room offers a white leather sofa, with a reclining chair, a leather chair with an ottoman, across from an 85" smart TV with a surround sound system. There is also a baby grand piano which produces the most gorgeous sounds you have ever heard, even if played by an amateur pianist.
The kitchen is fully equipped for any chef or bartender, with plentiful cooking equipment, dinnerware, silverware, and appliances. The range is an induction range which eliminates waiting for food to heat up. It heats instantaneously. The pots and pans are all geared to accommodate this type of heating. No more getting distracted by the TV or whatever, and losing focus on slow cooking ranges, resulting in burnt meals. There is seating for four at the kitchen island, six at a kitchen table, one at the kitchen desk, and 18 on the covered patio, all with the aforementioned awesome views. There is a mini fridge in the outdoor kitchen.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and laundry room. The spacious master bedroom, bathroom and closets have gorgeous white Carrera marble flooring, with some Persian rug carpeting appropriately placed. The master king sized bed has separate remote controlled single mattresses that can be raised and lowered separately. This bedroom has sliding glass doors, affording the occupants with a great view of the waterfront, that lead to a large balcony overlooking the water.
The other three bedrooms upstairs, as well as the hallway and laundry room all have wooden flooring. Two of the bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. Bedroom four has a Queen-sized bed and its own well-appointed bathroom.
In summary, Casa Tropico has pretty much everything an extended family, group of friends, or company retreat group would desire. Delray Beach is famous for its numerous wonderful fine upscale restaurants, but also offers several health food, casual, and breakfast restaurants. The heart of town, Atlantic Avenue, is a major hot spot night and day- a happening place for simply walking the "Ave", grabbing a bite to eat, or watching some live music. There are ferry boat rides up and down the Intercoastal several times a day including dinner cruises.
Within a few blocks from Tropic Isle there are numerous great restaurants, as well as Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Fresh Market and Publix super markets. Great cultural events year round. You could not ask for a better location.
